What is Habitat for Humanity Riverside?
A nonprofit housing organization working in the communities of Corona, Eastvale, El Cerrito, Highgrove, Home Gardens, Jurupa Valley, Moreno Valley, Norco, Riverside, and Woodcrest. Habitat for Humanity’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward our vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with people and families in need of a decent and affordable home.

What is a Habitat for Humanity ReStore? 
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity Riverside proudly owns and operates the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Riverside (otherwise known as the Riverside Restore.)

We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Donation drop offs are accepted Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Is the Riverside ReStore open to the public?
Absolutely! We invite everyone to stop in and donate and/or shop.

What does the Riverside ReStore sell?
Our store is donation-based. Merchandise arrives daily from private individuals and local businesses. We sell a variety of home improvement items, home decor, furniture, building supplies, and more. Our ever changing selection of merchandise makes every visit to a Habitat for Humanity Restore a treasure hunt! Learn more on our shop page.

How do you determine the price of an item?
We do our best to put out a quality product at a price that is good for the customer and good for the mission driven work we’re tasked with raising funds for. We price products at 30% to 90% off the retail price plus we run sales discounting items an additional 10% to 75% off each week. 

How do I find out about sales?
Our weekly sales can be found here.  Find out about our sales by joining our Treasure Hunter Email List and by following us on social media. We also hold the following sales on select days:
Military Discount 
*As of 2018, take an additional 10% off your total ReStore purchase on Tuesdays!
Student Discount 
University and college students, take an additional 10% off your total ReStore purchase on Tuesdays! 

Senior Discount 
Seniors aged 62 and up, take an additional 10% off your total ReStore purchase on Wednesdays! 
*Some products are subject to exclusion from these discounts, they will be clearly marked. Valid ID must be presented at the time of purchase to receive these discounts. These discounts are only available to the purchaser. They are only valid on the assigned day. Discounts may be discontinued at any time.
What types of payment do you accept at the Riverside ReStore?
Cash, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Effective August 1, 2017, to pay for your purchase with a credit or debit card you must spend a minimum of $5.00. 
May I return my purchase if I find that it is defective or I change my mind?
All sales are final unless otherwise noted. Please check your items for completeness and proper function before leaving the store and know the exact measurements for your project before making a purchase.

How can I get involved?
There are three main ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity ReStores: Donating, Shopping, and Volunteering

What type of donations does the Riverside ReStore accept?
Building materials and home improvement supplies that are new or gently used, clean, functional, and can be resold. Please reference our donation guidelines for details. Note that there are items that we are unable to accept.

How do I make a donation drop off? 
Drop off donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. We ask if you can fit your donation into your vehicle that you bring it down to the ReStore. The Riverside ReStore donation drop off center is located at 2180 Iowa Avenue, Riverside CA 92507. Donations are accepted at the second roll up door at the north side of the building.

Can the Riverside ReStore pick up my donations?
Yes! If you have several items which are too large to fit in your personal vehicle we can schedule a pick up. Click here to request a donation pick-up.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes, you will be given an In-kind Donation Receipt for federal income tax purposes, as allowed by law. Habitat for Humanity Riverside is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 

Can I donate a car?
You sure can! You can even donate a truck, boat, bus, plane, or other vehicle through Habitat for Humanity’s Cars for Homes program. For more information, head over to the Cars for Homes page.
