What are your hours of operation?
The Riverside ReStore is open Monday – Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

What is your return policy?
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges. All items sold in the Riverside ReStore are sold in AS IS condition with no warranty as to its working condition. We encourage you NOT to purchase an item unless you are sure you can use it or have the means to make it work.
What is your ‘hold’ policy?
The Riverside ReStore does not hold products. It is a first come, first serve retail environment.
How long do I have to pick up my merchandise?
We have a 3-day pickup policy. Please understand we do not guarantee the condition of your purchase when items are left with us for later pickup.
How do I find a ReStore in my area?
You can visit www.habitat.org and enter your zip code.
Can you tell me what other ReStore’s carry?
Unfortunately, no. Each ReStore operates independently from another. We work cooperatively to share donations and accommodate large donors but ultimately we are separate businesses without a system that links us.
Does the Riverside ReStore make deliveries?
No, we do not make deliveries.
Why do I have to pay sales taxes on the purchase made at the Riverside ReStore?
The sales of tangible goods are subject to sales tax to the state.
Will the Riverside ReStore help me tie my load down?
No, it is the customer’s responsibility to come prepared to load and tie down their purchase.
Is there a guarantee on appliances sold in the Riverside ReStore?
No, all products sold through the Riverside ReStore are sold as is, without guarantee or warrant. No exchanges or returns. We encourage you to not purchase an item if you have concerns about it working.
Can I volunteer in the Riverside ReStore?
Yes, you must go through an application process before you are offered service. See the Volunteer section of website.
How often do you have sales?
We generally post sales every two weeks, our sales program “Around the ReStore” is an as needed program and there maybe weeks we do not post a sale.
How do you price your products?
Products are generally priced at 25% - 90% off standard retail pricing.
Does the Riverside ReStore have a deconstruction program?
No at this time we do not have a deconstruction program.
Can the Riverside ReStore remove my donation from inside my home?
It is the responsibility of the donor to have all donations in an easily accessible location outside of yours home. The garage, side yard or driveway is all acceptable locations to stage your donation.
Why do you have a separate Mission then Habitat for Humanity, Riverside?
The Riverside ReStore’s mission is a supportive mission to that of Habitat for Humanity, Riverside.
What is Retail with a mission?
Retail with a mission is our practice of the environmental principals of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We consider ourselves a “reuse” business with a focus on extending the life of usable products.
What are the 4R’s?
The 4R’s are Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – ReStore.
