ReStored Red Side Table

Restored Furniture Extraordinaire, Beth, found this side table in perfect condition, only problem was that it lacked a bit of spark and color! She restored it using primer, paint, and dark glaze. Now this fun piece brings life and character to any room!
Supplies needed:
- Sandpaper
- Primer
- General Purpose Paint (Beth used Red Bay by Sherwin Williams)
- Paint brushes
- Dark Glaze
- Furniture Piece (Check out your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore for
your vintage furniture needs)
Directions:
- Take off hardware to avoid accidental spills
- Sand down the entire surface to get rid of any
paint or stain on the piece.
- Paint the entire surface of the piece with
primer, then with paint (use multiple coats of paint to create a solid finish)
- After the paint has completely dried, age the
project by applying dark glaze and then wiping the rest off with a rag
- Reattach the hardware and admire your finished
product!
