60s Party Décor- Riverside ReStore Style
Using Riverside ReStore items as party decorations!

Habitat for Humanity Riverside ReStore customer and Artist Showcase Contributer, Dawn used finds from the Riverside ReStore to decorate for the Swirl and Swing Fundraiser for the Riverside Neighborhood Partnership and the Riverside Concert Band.
She drew inspiration for the decorations from a 1960s Guy Lambaro Record when looking for the theme of the decor. Guy’s tuxedo inspired the black and white elements, including the table cloths, the black frames, the white candles and vases, and the paper rolls. The red carnation Guy wore on his tux was echoed throughout the décor with the faux red carnations placed in vases. The mercury glass vases and hurricanes reflected the candlelight perfectly against the black linens to elevate the classy, 60s style.
The best part of the décor? The records, the faux carnations, and the glassware were all purchased at the Riverside ReStore. Not only is the display beautiful and designed for a wonderful cause, the purchase of the items helped support Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s vision of “A world where everyone has a decent place to live.”
Thanks for sharing your décor with us Dawn!
